Using the word cloud, we surveyed NGOs that are working to solve this problem

Image
https://www.unwomen.org/en/about-us/about-un-women Here are the existing organizations that we have found most helpful in creating our new NGO. UN Women works to promote the empowerment of women and the elimination of violence around the world. In this case, we used WorldCloud to create the image.  I also used the corpus which my professor recommended to find out how the word is used. I learned that the term is often used in connection with violence. Because of the sensitive nature of the content, I also learned that much of it is covered in academic articles and in the news. Image
In this article, I would like to introduce and analyze three questions'  results in detail, which were particularly impressive.   First, the question " Have you ever experienced psychological violence? "  By this question, almost two thirds of all responders answered Yes.    This result indicates that the percentage of people who have experiences psychological violence is higher than the percentage of people who are physically violented. When asked specifically from whom they experienced psychological violence, many said from family members, including fathers and mothers.    This survey convinced us that many people have experienced psychological violence, but that this fact is hidden from the public. We have to try to improve this situation.    Next question is... "Have you ever heard if the phrase "economic violence"?"      To this question, many(80 % of all responders) said they did not know about economic violence. In...

''I thought my abusive relationship were normal https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c86jy6q1126o This is written from the perspective of a victim of violence. It details the psychological state of a woman who has been victimized. I have been a victim of domestic violence since I was a child and throughout my life. Because of this, I had low self-esteem. I felt worthless and even had suicidal thoughts. I never noticed any signs that I was having a mental break until I had suicidal thoughts. The signs are very subtle. It may seem romantic, but if we don't learn about abuse it is really hard to understand. In fact, I was a victim of not only physical violence but also economic abuse because I worked for my partner. I would lose my job, money, and we have two children, so it was very difficult for me to leave here. But in reality I was always looked down upon by my husband. I c...

woman rights and domestic violence

Hello. My name is Sena and my name is Chiharu. I am a university student in Japan, and I am currently studying mainly English language and English literature in detail. We are deepening our discussion on women's rights and domestic violence. The reason why we decided to research this topic is because we believe that in our country, problems related to women's rights and incidents of domestic violence by men against women have been increasing in recent years. We would like to study in detail the current situation in Japan where women are still looked down upon and the psychology of those who commit violence against their loved ones. I would like to update my blog once a week. Please read it. How does domestic violence impact women’s efforts to achieve equal rights? Women who are victims of domestic violence live in constant fear, making it difficult for them to make positive choices about their own lives. This limits their opportunities for work, education, and political parti...
